Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or submit a public quiz response. If you are below the age of legal majority, you must have permission from a parent or guardian where local law requires it.

People under 13 must not create an account or submit a response. Quizglish is not designed specifically for children or schools.

2. The service

Quizglish helps users create English practice quizzes, request AI-generated questions, publish public links, collect participant responses, score configured answers, review free-text answers, and view results.

Quizglish is currently provided free of charge.

3. Accounts

• Use only an Apple or Google identity that you are authorized to use.
• Keep the provider account and device secure and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
• Provide an appropriate display name and keep account information reasonably accurate.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it resulted from Quizglish failing to apply protections required by law.

4. Permitted use

You may use Quizglish for lawful personal practice, independent study, teaching, professional education, and paid teaching activity.

Your use must comply with applicable law, these Terms, the rights of other people, and any Apple, Google, or other third-party terms that apply to services you choose to use.

5. User content and license

You retain the rights you have in source text, quiz content, answers, and other material you submit. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use and share that material.

You grant Quizglish a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transform, generate from, display, transmit, share through a public link, and store your content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service.

The license ends when the relevant content is deleted, except for de-identified technical metrics and limited records that may lawfully remain as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. AI-generated content

Quizglish does not claim exclusive ownership of AI-generated quiz output. Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, you may use generated output for the permitted purposes described in these Terms.

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, unsuitable, non-unique, or similar to content generated for another user. Quizglish does not guarantee that output is error-free, pedagogically appropriate, original, or free of third-party claims.

You must review questions, answer keys, explanations, and other generated material before publishing or relying on it.

7. Public quiz links and participants

• Anyone who receives an enabled public link may be able to open it.
• The quiz creator is responsible for deciding who receives the link and for disabling or deleting it when access is no longer appropriate.
• Do not place confidential information in a public quiz.
• A participant must answer honestly, must not impersonate another person, and must not submit another person's answers without permission.
• A participant may use a nickname or alias and should not enter unnecessary personal information in a free-text answer.

8. Acceptable use

• Do not break the law or violate privacy, intellectual-property, confidentiality, contractual, or other rights.
• Do not upload fraudulent, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, child sexual abuse, or violent content.
• Do not upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to an account, quiz, response, API, database, server, or non-public area.
• Do not scrape, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, bypass limits or security controls, or use automated access without written permission.
• Do not submit sensitive personal data to AI generation or collect it through quizzes unless you have a valid legal basis and all required permissions.
• Do not use Quizglish or quiz results to make medical, credit, insurance, employment, legal, or similarly high-stakes decisions about another person.

9. Reports, moderation, and enforcement

Users can report a public quiz for misleading, offensive, privacy-invasive, copyright-infringing, or other problematic content.

Quizglish may investigate a report, disable a public link, remove clearly illegal or dangerous content, limit access, suspend an account, or terminate serious or repeated violations. We will provide notice where practical, but may act immediately to protect users, the service, or legal rights.

10. Quizglish intellectual property

Quizglish and its software, design, branding, documentation, and service content, excluding user content and third-party material, are owned by Alekseev Aleksandr or the applicable licensors.

These Terms give you only the limited right to use the service. They do not transfer ownership of Quizglish technology, branding, or other intellectual property.

11. Account, quiz, and response deletion

An account holder can delete an individual response, delete a quiz, or permanently delete the account through the available product controls. Account deletion is irreversible and removes the data described in the Privacy Policy.

A user who cannot sign in, or a participant who wants a response corrected or deleted, may contact ventarichannel@gmail.com. Provider-side deletion can take the disclosed retention period, and de-identified technical metrics may remain.

12. Third-party services

Quizglish relies on third-party services including Apple, Google/Firebase, xAI, Expo, and Contabo. Their services may be governed by their own terms and privacy notices.

Apple and Google are not parties to the agreement between you and Quizglish. They may apply their own app-store, account, device, distribution, and future transaction rules and are not responsible for Quizglish user content or Quizglish support.

13. Availability and changes to the service

Quizglish may experience maintenance, outages, errors, data loss, provider failures, or security incidents and may change, suspend, or discontinue a feature or the service.

You should keep a separate copy of material that is important to you. Quizglish does not guarantee continuous availability, permanent preservation of every draft, compatibility with every device or jurisdiction, or that every error will be corrected.

14. Disclaimers

Quizglish is provided free of charge on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Quizglish is an English-practice tool, not legal, medical, employment, financial, compliance, or professional advice and not a replacement for human judgment.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alekseev Aleksandr and Quizglish are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, opportunities, goodwill, content, drafts, responses, or data arising from use of or inability to use the service.

Because the service is free, Quizglish does not offer refunds, service credits, monetary compensation, or other compensation for downtime, data loss, AI errors, scoring errors, provider failures, or inability to access the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot be excluded, or any responsibility or mandatory consumer remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules and without taking away mandatory consumer protections available in the country where you live.

Before starting a formal claim, please contact ventarichannel@gmail.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. A claim may be brought before a competent court under applicable procedural and consumer law.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide a material notice on the website or in the app when appropriate.

Where law requires new consent for a material change, we will request it. Otherwise, continued use after the stated effective date means acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

18. Copyright and other rights reports

Send a copyright or other rights complaint to ventarichannel@gmail.com. Include the affected quiz or public link, identify the protected work or right, explain the claimed violation, and confirm that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.

Do not make a knowingly false report. We may ask for reasonable additional information before acting.
